This is Bat Season The Bats are flying all over Ontario, Canada. I was sitting outside last night  and two of the biggest Brown Bats I have ever seen flew over my head. I wish I would have had my camera.The Bats' wing span had to be two feet wide. I would have thought I was seeing things if my friend hadn't seen them too.
   It's the rain, it's brought out the mosquitoes and the bats are hungry and feeding ON ANYTHING HUMAN, ANIMAL AND/OR INSECT.
   It's That time of year when Bat Babies are old enough to fend for themselves. They are getting into all kinds of mischief. They are coming down into the house inshead of following the rest of the bats that are using the exit holes.

   Baby bats don't know any better so they'll take a bite of whatever is closest your dog, cat, your kids, you and they won't try to hide while they are doing it. Unfortunately the most common place to find bats especially baby bats is unfortunately baby's crib. The room is always quite and dark and that is wat they like, that and food.
   You can even see baby bats during the day, they are very bold. Like our teenagers that don't know when to go to bed and when to get up.

They don't need as much room as Mom and Dad, Only the size of your pinky finger and they can wiggle their way in. When the bat tries to squeeze through an area such as a door frame you will see evidence:

• Bats have a protective oily coating on them that allows them to squeeze through the places they do. You would usually be able to see to kind of oily black dirty smears from the bats rubbing.
• As the Bats push and crawl their way under the door they will excrete feces (urine and guano) onto the floor, wall register, window or vent.

If you have had bats for a while and have done nothing or your neighbour has had bats for a while and done nothing.....

I am telling you now " You need to address the seriousness of your  bat situation.

 Don't be stupid enough to think that if you just leave them be that they will just go away!!!!

They won't the bats are just going to keep multiplying till YOU MOVE!!!!

What you need to do if you think you have a bat problem is give us a call, we will come out and look at your bat situation. It could be nothing. Many times we've gone to a house and what they thought were bat were mice, which we also take care of, or nothing.

The Most Common Bat Entry Points Used By Bats Are
Down Chimney's, where chimneys and Other masonry/brick meet the side of the house.
The joints between window frames and house siding.
Where the Soffit meets the shingles at the roof line.
Through Roof and Side Vents.
Through joints around exterior beams.
Especially at building corners.
Where the Pipes and Wires enter the Roof or Walls of House.
Through Air Conditioning Vents
Through Attic Air Conditioning and Heat Ventilation Systems.
Where the Walls meet the Eaves at the Gable Ends of an Attic.
Between Porches or other Additions and the Main part of of House.
At all Roof Edges, Ridge Caps, Soffits and Fascia Boards with gaps of 1/4" or more.
In Gaps Under Shingles especially Ceramic Tile, Slate and Steel Roves.
